    Description

1922 Press Release photo with a story attached regarding the engine's resurrection from the scrapyard.  The steam engine reportedly ran between L.A. and San Diego in California.  Louis B. Mayer of MGM fame financed the rebuild.  Young lady on the cow catcher is Actress Ann Q. Nillson-film star.  Underwood & Underwood of New York owned the right to the photo and story.  The photo measures 5.75" X 7.75."  Our guess is that the photo had been trimmed for publication purposes.
